              Our Jiu-Jitsu Style (CJA)
               Combined Jiu-Jitsu Arts
The style of Jiu-Jitsu that is taught in Milton has its roots in the old Kodenkan style, which was altered and improved on by Bob Kranstz's Sensei, Shihan Ronald Forrester.  Bob Kranstz then went on to add further changes, incorporating grappling techniques from his Judo background,  techniques from Hako Ryu style of Soke Michael LaMonica, from Kyoshi Alain Sailly's Goshindo, from Hanshi John Theriens's CanRyu style, from his good friend Professor Wally Jay's Small Circle Jiu-Jitsu, and Aikido from Kyoshi Kevin Blok, as well as many other techniques from Masters around the world such as: Bill Wallace - Joe Lewis - Jean-Yves Theriault - Renzo Gracie - Dan Severn - George Dillman. With new and altered techniques from the above Masters Kyoshi Kranstz altered the style of Jiu-Jitsu he practised and taught, and by altering and combining techniques he then named the style now practised as the CJA style, (Combined Jiu-Jitsu Arts). Kyoshi Kranstz continues to study and improve on all techniques.   CJA Jiu-Jitsu could also be referred to as MMA because of it’s many striking and blocking techniques,  joint locking and controlling techniques, and it’s throwing and grappling techniques. The CJA style has it all. -
